a Primark shoebox in Leicester

She just nipped around to… well it doesn’t matter why, she was here. Anyway, I offered her one of my duck parcels…. pan fried duck in plum and tamarind sauce, wrapped in filo pastry…. baked to crispy golden perfection.

She said my pancakes ('ey?) were too crispy and my duck wasn’t crispy enough… oh and I’d left no room to get the strips of spring onion and cucumber in

No pleasing some people-they sound awesome. Now I'm hungry though...wasn't thinking Chinese but oddly am now.

The cook of the house would consider it a compliment if you asked her/him and as said above you would find yourself being offered all sorts of tidbits.

mention in passing that you would like to have a receipe to try some authentic cooking, might work, that or you will get a recipe, but at least you can try it for yersel.
