Easier for women to get guys, so yeah course i'd have an open relationship. Even told my ex i wanted one when i found out he was looking for someone else, he said no, i split with him and fucked loads of guys anyway. He's not met anyone yet. He wants to get back with me, i told him i'm not giving up anyone else for him but will be with him as well. I don't care any more, seems most people are selfish arseholes at the end of the day, i'm being one too.

He doesn't want that though, he wants me all to himself and hasn't proved himself trustworthy so i'm not caving in because although i would like to be with him i'm not doing it at my expense. At least i told him how it is and not doing anything behind his back.

OP as discussed on previous similar threads, do what makes you happy.

FBs is a bit different to an open relationship to me. It sounds like she wants you to be her "Mr wednesday" or whatever day to have a fall back if her weekend meets don't happen for whatever reason.

Also sounds like she may be manipulating you to keep you on her side, and get what she wants for you. Its entirely your call if this is what suits you. DO what makes you happy...

I was willing to give up some of what i wanted to be in a relationship. I do think relationships can only be based on mutual wants and needs being fulfilled by your partner if it's worth your while to do that and pretty sure that's how relationships work, you give and take and sacrifice but not too much or else you end up feeling used (and a whole host of other negative feelings too).

It has to work both ways though for most relationships to be successful. He isn't willing to prove he is trustworthy so i'm not willing to give up my life.

Not sure why she's the way she is, but if you want her to compromise and she won't then walk away and be selfish yourself. I don't think we should allow to others to make us unhappy, we deserve better.

We live 80 miles apart, and aside from the logistics of one of us uprooting, neither of us wants to move in together.
