at a social, have you ever been surprised about how they look in the flesh, or how their personality differs from the way they post in here?

We've been to a few socials now, and have met loads of you people, and we're happy to report that everyone's just lovely

PS

I'm trying to arrange a few shags for when we come up country again

Not how they look, but one lady, as I have said before, is in her words a 'right gobby cow'.

But when I met her she is quieter and really lovely, still gobby tho lol

Lmao that i can believe.

Some are really far better than you imagined and a real pleasure to chat to which is always a plus point. Others are a shadow of their on line persona but you can put it down to the situation.

And then there are the ones who just don't turn up as they don't want people to see what they are like or worse. I guess there will always be surprises but in the main they are present and welcome ones.

North of The Wall - youll need your vest

I have been surprised when Ive met some people at socials. Some of them have looked nothing like Id imagine they would, but where Ive already seen a face pic, almost all of them have been much better looking in the flesh.

In terms of personalities, I think most have been pretty much the same as they are on the forums although I think its always much easier to 'understand' some peoples posts once you have actually met them....

Actually that is a really good point as you can see peoples facial expressions and understand their kind of humor once met. I have found people i thought were ok before i like even more so once met.

It is true you can hear the humour once you have met someone... but every once in a while it works the other way and you can hear the real tone under the frilly dressing.

In general they are all pretty good as you have things to talk about from here. Lots of "did you see" and "well i never" buggers creeping up and tickling you etc lol.

The Halloween one is always good as some are dressed up and you struggle with who is who

Never mind, Yummy, I'll start a thread asking all the guys at the social to get their cocks out, so that you'll recognise them

This will be interesting!

I have only recently started haunting the forums, and have not yet attended a social.

I am however going to the halloween one BB mentioned, so if you can spot me please come say hi!

I will be the one shaking with nerves in the same corner as Peaches (Peaches can I join you please? xx)

" .............

My first ever "big social" was a Haloween one and so I could meet more people, I voluteered to to door duties, checking everyone in, handing out badges etc. Trouble was, I too had trouble with all of the face masks and one particular guy who was dressed up as a mushroom!

My first ever "big social" was Kat n Kevs over a year ago. I also volunteered to do the door giving out the badges, but was sticking them in in appropriate places, plus I could read the list. So went onto the bar maid duty when after a short stint I was barred from that for ringing up a round for £2,000. Wasnt my problem I didnt have me glasses on.
