"A pub we go past regularly advertises a 2 course Sunday lunch for £4.95. We avoid it thinking it is too cheap for 1 course let alone 2 courses. People we know think the same. We decided to give it a go last Sunday and it was really good, tender meat, nice veg, really perfect. The question is, if food seems too cheap, does it make you avoid going there or put you off?" I'd try it.. If it was not up to edible standards I'd send it back and ask for my money back and never return.

"There's an article online at the moment about someone that eat twice daily at weatherspoons for a week. It makes it pretty clear why cheap foid isn't always a good idea" Wetherspoons serves a purpose - cheap and cheerful, no thrills don't mind them but wouldn't visit too often
