If it seems too cheap, will it put you off

A pub we go past regularly advertises a 2 course Sunday lunch for £4.95.

We avoid it thinking it is too cheap for 1 course let alone 2 courses.

People we know think the same.

We decided to give it a go last Sunday and it was really good, tender meat, nice veg, really perfect.

The question is, if food seems too cheap, does it make you avoid going there or put you off?

I think that,s excellent value If the Meal is good, for two course,s that Price compareable to same price,s of 15 + years ago amazeing how they can keep The price,s down to that value make the Most of It while it lasts is my answer..

Nope, I always go to the pub by me that does two meals for £6.95 and desert is buy one get one free, garlic bread is £1, a bottle of appletizer is £1.70 and a caprisun juice is 90p

I have the chicken wrapped in bacon with cheese and BBQ sauce with curly fries and my daughter has scampi, chips and peas, two warm chocolate fudge cakes with ice crea and the whole things costs less than £15 2 mains, 2 drinks 2 deserts and a side!

I buy my meat from the butchers in bulk which is cheaper than the supermarket equivalent and is a much much higher quality meat.

There's an article online at the moment about someone that eat twice daily at weatherspoons for a week. It makes it pretty clear why cheap foid isn't always a good idea

I often try something "cheap" once.

Surprisingly, it is either good value (often) or utter crap and a waste.

Conversely, re food, it's rather that a lot of eating out places are too expensive and poor value for money.

Domino's pizza flyer : ONLY (my caps) £19.99 for a large pizza, large fries and a 2L bottle of . Yet they don't go out of business.

I'd try it.. If it was not up to edible standards I'd send it back and ask for my money back and never return.

If we eat out we wanna enjoy a treat so yes cheap would put us off

I only just started eating beef again a year or so ago after I found the less then 5% mince Although its expense

Last week I brought the smartprice frying steak expecting it to be terrible i trimmed the fat off n diced it for a stir fry and it was beautiful

Wetherspoons serves a purpose - cheap and cheerful, no thrills don't mind them but wouldn't visit too often
