Let me correct you, you fight for a state where people from diverse range of backgrounds can express there freedoms of the land which happens to have Christian values embedded within its heritage.
Middle Eastern mess? Yes there are fanatics, but they're a product of limited social cohesion caused by ignorance from all communities in the UK. Stereotypes and labelling has fuelled the brainwashes into recruiting young people into a false religious ideology that they must follow. The best way we can combat this is to breakdown these misconceptions and interact between communities to help end this diversity.
So, your ideal solution to dealing with the fanatical is to allow them to integrate into our community, polluting the minds of more young people, name me countries that are under sharia law that are not a complete mess, that do not require aid, that aren't killing and slaughtering their own people over whimsical offences, these are definitely not the sorts of people I would like to have integrated into my community!
We are in a christian country, if you do not have a faith or religion when born in this country and do not state so you are automatically stated as C of E, which is Christian is it not, does that not show that we are primarily Christian based "Look at Germany, apart from Dresden, most of Germany is well populated with people from all corners of the globe. Tolerance has been learnt the hard way there theoigh the masacte of many innocent people 70 odd years ago. Those lessons have been embedded into the social dynamic of the population and so there is an acceptance of other faiths and ideologies into there society. No matter what race, religion, colour or social status, everyone treats everyone else as an equal which makes it a well integrated society. Let's say you were a young Muslim teenager, with friends from all other backgrounds. If someone tried to tell you you had to harm these people or that they were nothing to you and your faith you'd happily stick 2 fingers at them. Now, the same scenario but you'd been bullied for being Muslim, and avoided by all people from other ethnicities/races/religions, you'd think, this guys got a point, and would easily accept the radicalisation. Social cohesion a is key to destroying the prey of the brainwashes! | |||

Stating a preference is a bit tricky too when you can't talk- so you're basically saying that Chrisitanity is a sort of dictatorship that assumes you're a member unless you're indoctrinated into one of the other gangs at birth, by your parents, without choice? Yet another reason i'm glad i chose Atheism as soon as i realised what utter pap religion was (about 7 IIRC, didn't go down too well at school when i refused to join in with the god bothering in assembly) | |||
