The wind tried it on with me, blowing me this way and that way.

So I just did a roundhouse kick and sent the wind packing.

Chuck norris style.

Boom!

The front door blew open.. And the loft door came down from the wind too! It was a bit dodgy anyway but nobody had been upstairs all day until I nearly whacked my head on it

My local council reckons that only 5% of household waste is recycled... perhaps it's because most of the plastic bottles, cardboard and paper gets blown out of the bloody stupid plastic bags they provide us with and ends up in the river at the bottom of town....

We used to have those, now got blue bins. They just blow over as well because the recycling is so light. I don't have many empty glass stuff or tins, it's all light plastics.

No wheelie bins then, All our recycleable stuff goes into a Blue bin apart from garden waste which Goes into a brown bin which we have to pay for now..

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

The drive across the Pennines wasn't too windy this morning, although the rain and fog at the hairpin bend was tricky. It's been getting windier as the day has grown older - my brolly was blown inside out so many times I decided getting wet was easier.

Twas a wee tad windy on t' canal, popping the blades in the air nearly got us back to the boathouse as fast as we got to the turning point rowing. Sod technique, twas a day for strength and endurance.
