In a nutshell i bought some cute wedge shoes for my 5 year old,, my mum (being the sensible one) says about her falling over and breaking bones etc..

i know deep down she's right (god dammit) but these wedges are soooo cute

Still they look nice and will just get her to wear them and stand still for a picture lol

If she wears heeled shoes often it will deform her feet as she grows. It can make her toes splay out. Let her just wear them for dressing up games.

realistically thats all id let her wear them for. She practically lives in flats as she constantly runs around playing football and even im not stupid enough to let her wear them for playing

Herts

They make heels for 5 year olds???

Good Lord, what is the world coming to?

Their bones are still forming and strengthening. Surely that's just going to cause damage??

(Not ranting at you as you've said they'd mainly be used for pictures but if they're being made people must be buying/using them?).

guess i was sucked in because i thought they look cute. by the time the platform has been taken into account the heel itself is no more than what a childs dress up princess shoe would be

im not a complete numpty (though some would question it) lol

on the section of the website the heels section only stocks shoes if your child has size 8 feet and up..

so toddlers are unlikely to be wearing this style shoe

I seen a 8 year old trying to walk in high heel school shoes. It's just wrong

They are fine for dressing up as princesses but I wouldn't let one out in the street with a pair on
