I don't usually like saying fbs but it applies to both sexes.

What keeps you going back for more? Is it just the sex connection? Do you genuinely like them as a person?

In another world could you see yourselves as a couple.

I have a guy I've been seeing over 8 years. The sex is great but I also genuinely care about him as he does me.

As for being a couple in the "real" world, never in a million years I'd kill him in less than 24 hours.

lol, I think fb is for when its just sex, fwb when there is social stuff, dinner etc aswell, I dont think I could do just fb, I miss the other things that go with relationships, meals or nights out etc, just dont want to date with all the crap that goes with it.

see I'm in a relationship so I get all the other stuff. But even if I was single I wouldn't want a relationship with him as I'm sure he wouldn't me as he calls me a primadonna

I'd like to think I make my fb's day or week a bit better if they're having the week from hell. As for me I love a good fuck after a long week at work, if anything it energises me. Also I love getting naughty texts throughout the day, that can really lighten me up as I can get really moody sometimes.

Funny how these little things can affect you in big ways

When I've had an fb I,ve liked them as a person and the sex was amazing as the more I meet someone the more relaxed I am and willing to try new things ..... Would love another one but they are not easy to find

I don't call one that I've seen for 3 years an fb,but I do get on really well with him in lots of ways

If I was single I wouldn't dream of wanting anything more than we already have as his life is total chaos

I have a couple of guys where we meet, we have fantastic sex, we chat, we laugh,we go our own separate ways. ....until next time. We may text a little in between meets but we don't impact on each others lives. We don't care about who else the other person is meeting. We just enjoy each others company now and then and have amazing sex. That to me is a true fb.

Sex with someone you're not in a relationship with, so don't have those hang ups that can occur, but where you have got to know them and trust them, feels to me to get better and better.

I do like the thrill of a first time with someone but there's a different pleasure in building and developing something with a person too.

We don't have anniversary parties but think I've been with someone around 8 years as fbs. We respect, like and care for each other.

I could date and live together but we don't want that. As it is, its hard to meet once a week.

We've matured a fair bit in this time - we were less like adults to start with. I appreciate this fbs expertise and understanding of my needs and support for if I'm under the weather. I'd not get all of this with a random shag meet.

Ditto. Totally the same. I've been married 21 years, had more sex in the last year with my friend/ partner /fuck buddy. We get on extraordinary well. We both wish we'd met years ago.
