I tried not to watch it but curiosity got the better of me.

I knew it was most likely going to be bad but my god ...2 hours of my life I will never get back !

I agree all that build up I was expecting to pick up a new trick or two. Apart from the belt, i have done it all before lol

I've no idea why they ever thought they could translate it well to cinema given its Context some books should stay books .

Plus that Mr G they cast was way too soft!

Totally agree and the books were two and half books too long and so badly written my 12yr old niece could have written better

As for the film, no intention of wasting anymore of my time or line her pockets anymore than they already are

Incidently Charlie Hunnam of Sons of Anarchay was originally cast as Grey and would probably have been a better choice however he wisely pulled out

t read the first book at my suggestion, I read a few paragraphs and couldn't continue, it was so bad. She persisted but also thought it was shite.

So it's no surprise the film is even more shite - you can't polish a turd.

Read all 3 books (I know, I know...a bit masochistic of me). Watched the film, and decided drinking molten lead would be more fun. Seriously, how could anyone think that this tat would make a box office winner. Yet as some have pointed out, the author is laughing all the way to the bank. Go figure!!!!!

its a film with made up characters and a made up plot line about a scene that the author knows little about and actually started off life as twilight fan fiction. it titillated the masses and bored the more knowing among us.

The books were utter drivel, why they'd make a good film is beyond me. I've ready saucier crisp packets.
