So us ladies often change our name when we marry. I am still Mrs thingy. Plus Ive always disliked my first name prefering Euie my middle name. After a lot of thought ive decided to change my surname and decieded on one so i will be Evie something else. not sure about a middle name, any ideas? now be nice haha Also what would you have as a different name of your choice for you or your other half?

Didn't change my name so everyone referred to the hubby as Mr and my surname. Going to change it this time though ...

I changed my surname and dropped my middle name several years ago. Did consider changing my first name but figured that would be too confusing

Wouldn't change my first and middle names but will be changing my surname when my passport is due for renewal.

Me and Bradley have no interest in getting married but I would like to have the same surname as our children, plus it would be nice to finally cut all ties and association with my good-for-nothing "father".

It's difficult to suggest what would make a good middle name without knowing your surname (which I wouldn't expect you to divulge), but you wouldn't want to ask me anyway. I'd suggest some hippy-sounding shit like Raen (pronounced the same as "rain").

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I've never understood changing your name on marriage to his name. What if his is something like Pillock?

I like my first name, my muddle one has an amusing story and my last name is is what it is. I'm not sure what surname I would take on the replace it but there's not many that could take on the meaning of my last name.

I'll just stick with Licketysplits.

My friends recently popped out a sproglet and wanted to name it something a bit different, i suggested Gandalf, as its unusual and carries a certain gravitas....they didn't take up my suggestion though
