Just walked up my drive to get my trusty, rusty, transit out of the garage and as I looked up into the garden I looked along the first row of cider apple trees, covered in blossom.

What little moments give you that warm glow about your peice of the world?

Looking at the blossom while drinking the cider

The weather man was talking about the beautiful cherry blossom last week and was pointing at Apple trees. DOH!

Shafts of sunlight coming through the window at the back of my house, which make the room warm and beautiful and remind me why I don't really mind working so hard because I can come home to somewhere I love to live every day.

Yesterday as I was sat in the garden at my local I saw the sun setting in a glorious rusty golden haze, I turned and looked in the opposite direction to see a near full moon smiling straight at me

Isn't that just an amazing moment? My daughter sits on the worktop and plays her guitar and sings to me as I cook sometimes. I just can't get over how damn good she is.

My son sometimes gets up and joins my band on stage, it's awesome having him perform with me.

That must be amazing. I thought I had a good voice until she started to sing with confidence.

lots of little things but one place in my house that makes me smile is a frame of 9 pics i have - mostly the kids and pets - it has a one pic of the 2 of them when girie was less than a year old and sonny was 3 - both sat together on the garden bench in the sun both having a very deep conversation about god knows what - i remember just after that they were both having a really chuckle - always makes me smile

When I return home to see my daughter and we walk my dog on the beach. I miss the feeling of the sand between my toes and the fresh smell of the salt in the air. But most of all I miss seeing her she's my world.
