Cook at home to add to a take away order saving money ?

Just ordered my curry and have cooked a huge pan of tarka dall to go with it

I do it in reverse, so to speak, will use leftovers the day after and cook extra rice and veg to go in it. Call me cheap LOL

nope, as only take out we have is fish and chips, chinese we go to the buffet on a sunday lunch sometimes, and curry I cook from scratch.x

Curry I normally do, making my own sauce etc even grind my own spices x just can't resist adding to a take away tho

I've never tried Thai, I hate fruit and sweetness in a savoury dish, I always got the impression Thai has coconut in it ?

Not really, once you have all your spices, the only things you need to buy fresh are the meat, onion, garlic and maybe a bit of ginger

the spices can be expensive, but once you have them they last, and dont all need replacing at the same time,x

I can't cook to save my life.

Even if the raw ingredients cost me 10p but the Take-away was £10 ~I'd still order the Take-away because I cannot cook for shit.
