"I'm a history need, so point me at castle or museum and I'm likely to be happy. However, it's been pointed out to me that I should probably broaden my horizons a bit, so I'm open to other suggestions. There's a lot I didn't get to last time I was in Devon - I want to visit Falmouth and the Jurassic Coast at some point, for instance - so I know is have plenty to do. On the other hand, in Norfolk I can get a place with a hot tub..." The Castle museum is huge, with loads to see. We also have a toy museum (at least we used to), military museums and various other museums. There are some beautiful walks and lovely scenery. There's a glass blowing place where you can watch the glass being prepared, worked and blown. Boat trips. Nature stuff. Wildlife parks. A sealife centre. The Thursford Collection. A shire horse centre. Loads of halls, houses and National Trust places. A puppet theatre. A narrow gauge steam railway. There's a lot to do here, if you could drag yourself out of the hot tub!

Well that would be the issue, I could spend the whole week gently poaching myself - especially if I had company in it.

"In a warning episode to read things carefully, I very nearly booked the place in Norfolk with the hot tub before realising it doesn't have internet access Back to the drawing board. Any more opinions? We haven't really heard from the Devon contingent." No internet access? I know it's Norfolk and things can be a little backward in terms of technology and innovation at times but really, most of us do have the internet.

Send out a few messages and I'm sure you could arrange company during your holiday.

"What do you like to do on holiday? As mentioned, Norfolk is beautiful. We have the Broads, lots of beaches and seaside stuff, Blakeney point (boat trip to a bird sanctuary via some seals), various museums, Norwich castle museum, some fabulous pubs... Tell me what are you interested in and I'll tell you what's here that you might enjoy." And a great football team too

Falmouth is fantastic and happens to be the third largest natural harbour in the world but its a bit of a trip down from Devon but if you do make it I suggest a day out exploring the lizard peninsular and some of the best beach's in the world in particular kynance and mullion. The Jurassic coast is fantastic from the amazing arch of durdle door to old harry rocks at swanage unfortunately most of it is in Dorset and is a bit of a trip up from Devon but thoroughly recommend
