exactly what I'm doing this morning

Do you stay in bed when the weather is rubbish?

If you don't have much else to do?

Sheffield

I stay in bed at every possible opportunity!

Fun with company but I also like having my bed to myself.

Central

I'm usually up way too early, like 5am, when the weather will often be different to the rest of the day. I've occasionally popped back to bed, if I've little on and it's nasty out. It's lovely and sunny up here this morning.

Absolutely love being snug in bed when the wind is blowing and the rain is lashing against the windows

Always great on weekends and days off when you don't have to get up. Not so great when you have to go to work though!

This happens once in a blue moon for me. Working, family and life doesn't allow it sadly.

If I woke up next to you OP I'd never get out of bed for the rest of my fuckin' life! Rain or shine. Other than that, no not really.

Now get your sweet posterior out of bed you lazy bugger. Surely there's something you should be doing!

OP here's a little ode to help get you out of bed. Sung to the tune of Dear Prudence by The Beatles...

Dear Ava, won't you come out to play?

Dear Ava, greet the brand new day

The sun is up, the sky is blue

It's beautiful and so are you

Dear Ava, won't you come out to play?

According to some (probably vegetarians who wear itchy jumpers and have strange hair) the world's oceans are drying up and soon everywhere will be a huge desert. So get out there and enjoy it while you still can.

Or...

There's the other lot who seem to think that we'll all soon be living under 12ft of water. In which case, get as high up as you can and stay in bed!...
