Near Bristol

My grass is more s than grass so I might have to lay a new one!!

I'm going to try a grass nutrient / grass killer beforehand to hopefully save me the bother.

Anyone done this and has a recommendation?

I have. Can't remember the brand but it was a cheap one from B&Q. It worked really well, i poured it all over the lawn and then mowed so the grass/s were food as well and covered up pellets so they didn't blow away. It's quite windy round here.

I did it more for the patchy grass because we walk on it, it lasted a couple of years and needs redoing now i noticed.

Get a decent and feed, and then chuck a load of grass seed down. If the lawn is thick enough it'll naturally keep the s down.

Let me know how you get on. Sadly my neighbour has a jungle so if I were to treat my garden, her crap would just reseed in my garden and I would be back to square one
