Just reading an article on this in the Telegraph now if the story is true that is some scary stuff!!!

Don't believe in poltergeists myself or any of the like as luckily I have not encountered anything like it to convince me otherwise.

Anyone planning on watching this and of experienced ghostly stuff?

i'm looking forward to this! it's a very famous case, that and the pontefract poltergeist...they made a film of that "when the lights go out" it has some embelishments, but you get the gist, bit like this one probably.

I'm a total skeptic. I sometimes watch documentaries in the vain hope that there will be some little piece of evidence that will change my mind.

Titz Towers, North Notts

There's nothing in it, but that doesn't stop me enjoying a shiver when I watch Arthur C Clarke's Mysterious World

i must admit i do laugh a lot at what i see the ghost adventures crew are a bit like scooby doo gang, paranormal witness can be just weird and ghost stories fckn scarey! but i do enjoy watching em and there are some very strange stories that no-one can deny or explain rationally.

It's a well documented and probably the best known case of a poltergeist infestation

Group psychological influence is behind a lot of it, I think, coupled with a personal bias that investigators have. There have been some stupid shows, such as most haunted, where they've screamed and almost wer their knickers a few times each episode, because of some wind outside etc.

Don't have a belief that such stuff is anything other than rationally explained, if the stupid investigators calmed down for a minute.

I'd like to see some real evidence, it would be exciting.

Taps is pretty hard core ... Except that kiddy who is scared of flying... And cob webs... And lill bugs and the wind and shadows. Watching him scream and run off is the best bit

I Believe that when anything happens around me its in such small bursts not As in sound but in events happening its Hardly recognised as such, but the Latest thing to happen to me was this Year at home it may only be a small thing but without a doubt it happened,

A few months back because I have a spare Works key I was asked from work If I had A key I knew I had one but I was sure I had chucked it away but Made the excuse I could,nt find it Which in reality I could,nt I checked All the right place,s where it could have been a number of times, anyway Thee other week I was moveing some Items in my cubboard and holy mose,s It just lay there where I had searched High and low no way was that key there Before and I can only thank who it may Have been but normally of late its beens very quite on that front, It reminds me of that album abba brought out The Visitors which is what they Are and being family I think, I,m happy With that nice to think their Looking over me.

In reality it was a hoax but the show is taking a different view on it.

There's no such thing as ghosts.

We live near to the Pontefract house, and my friend and I are hoping to spend a night there soon!

Tonights episode was great, cant wait until next week so im gonna raid On Demand and cheat!

Im a total believer as ive had so many experiences over the years that cant be explained ranging from seeing figures to hearing voices and music, and even being embraced by something! We are not alone...and im not mental...well not that much anyway

"I will be giving it a go. I used to watch Most Haunted, it was good for a laugh, Derek Acorah was hilarious "

exactly that, and has done nothing for the credibility of genuine paranormal research

just watched the first episode, very good, i remember seeing mr gross on the old ghost hunters programme on discovery, i think timothy pulled it off quite well
