Because women are more sensative about their size than men

Seen a lot of threads on these forums about size and a lot do take offence by the word fat so we sugar coat it, where as men seen less bothered about such words

I don't call myself BBW I say I am chubby or fat - my husband is a lifelong chubby chaser and he caught me

I only get called it on here.....it doesn't bother me but it is just a pretty word for fat

I hate the term BBW I don't know why I just do. I don't sugar coat myself though I'm a fat fucker. I don't find the word fat offensive what I do find irritating is when nasty names are thrown and both large and slim people

Probably because there are lots of guys who find fat women sexy because of their fat so they created the bbw tag, whereas there aren't as many women who find fat men sexy because of his fat, so no abbreviation/tag was ever created.

You beat me to it, I have a slim almost boyish figured friend who is paranoid about her body because of comments like this.

Fat, skinny, somewhere in between, don't matter if you're proud of yourself good.... but don't put other people down to feel better, that's just being a shitty person.

Im just five foot and size 20/22 and I'd say I have curves in all the right places.....just extra big curves!!

I do tend to go for larger built guys as I feel more relaxed with them (and less likely to "snap" them when I'm on top!) Also, being honest, a bigger guy makes me feel smaller so, more confident etc

Well Rubens started it I think and the larger lady was viewed as beautiful by society. Hence the term Rubinesq.

Well I'm pretty certain you've not read each and every profile here. I have seen a few that describe themselves as bbw and men as fat. Contrary to popular belief men also do have feelings

Well you have your body type down as average on your profile so what you worried about

And you have curvy so what are you worried about?

I'm not worried I just don't understand why a guy who does not see himself as fat would open a thread like this, most people start threads on topics that relate to them

Just seems a little odd to me

It's not a term I particularly like. I guess it makes it easier to denote you're larger than average. Not all larger ladies are beautiful or under the illusion they are. Clubs have BBW nights too so they use the term. I think people can call themselves what they like as beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. Labels make no difference to that.
