"What trouble would she be causing ?"

The establishment was worried she would give birth to a Muslim baby, being Mohammed Al Fayeds sons girlfriend.

However, I don't think she was done. The driver was very very d*unk, they were driving too fast and none of them were wearing seatbelts.

Exactly this - of the four people in that car, one (bodyguard iirc) was wearing a seatbelt, and he was the only one who survived.

i think there is only one photo of inside the car, after it left the hotel - dont think its full enough you can tell whether she is wearing a belt or not?

its a huge insult to a professional to say they were d*unk on the job. course ppl will believe what they want. yeah, guy who owned Harrods hires a d*unk to drive his son + princess around.

that ambulance took 2 hours to go from a tunnel to a hospital. in centre of Paris at like 2/3am. cos, you know, they had to find the right hospital.

it happened in a tunnel - perfect place to seal off an 'incident' and ensure you get the outcome you want. the rest is just PR.

There have been inquiries into the accident and it has been found, on more than one occasion, to have been exactly that. An accident.

Unfortunately, there are many people who simply can't accept this and therefore are of the belief that there was some kind of conspiracy against her.

Facts :

The driver of the car they were travelling in was over the legal alcohol limit (in other words, he shouldn't have been driving)

Diana and Dodi Al Fayed were not wearing seatbelts

Now to the conspiracy theorists I have a question. Did someone force the driver to drink? Did someone force Diana and Dodi Al Fayed to Not wear their seatbelts?

As has been said already, the only survivor from the car was wearing a seatbelt.

I don't go anywhere in a car without wearing one

Well, since I appear to be channelling Russell Brand I suppose it's perfectly possible.

Do conspiracy theorists ever stop to consider the sheer numbers of people who would need to be in on the conspiracy for it to be successful?

Just around the corner

I have never understood why anyone would believe that the palace would want or need to bump her off.

Charles and Diana were divorced. She was only ever going to be of peripheral interest. If they'd just ignored here, she would eventually got eh hint and realised that it wasn't all about her.

I donlt think that she was done in. I do think that some people may have been relieved that there was no chance that the future king was going to have a muslim stepfather, potentially a muslim half brother or sister and that a figure loathed by the British establishment's son was no longer dating the future king's mother

you kinda contradicted yourself here.

ps - you have heard of hillsborough/js/ jfk yeah?

fyi - the house of rep commission decided it 'was likely there was a conspiracy to off jfk'. 2nd investigation, warren was the first.

if they can do a president, what makes you think its so hard to do anyone with sufficient reason?

the one in about 76?"

It says the 76 findings were based on a dodgy acoustic recording, and in the 80s the Justice department declared its unlikely there was a second gunman.

Of course, conspiracy theorists wouldn't believe that, they only believe what corroborates their theories, so feel free to disregard me. The Daily Express is a much better source of facts.

It's all a load of bollocks, most conspiracy theories are created to sell books. In the great old US of A, there are consultancy companies who specialise in propagation of myths through social media and other clever devices. Most people who push these theories are unwitting tools of the system....in more senses than one.

Sorry!

I donlt think that there were ever conspiracy theories about Hillsborough, campaigning for justice, for a full investigation and people to be held accountable is not a conspiracy theory

careful crystal, you might be moving over to the dark side!

ppl will now say you must be nuts + probably dont believe we even got to the moon!

but the point you make so well, is - you have to judge these things on their own merit/evidence.

This is probably one of the most likely conspiracies. It was not the royal family that killed her but the faceless establishment. A princess marries a muslim and we are at war all over the middke East. They felt she had to go. Embalmed body before she got here next morning...thats so obvious its fightening. Go to a local morgue after people have been in accidents..no one is embalmed a few hours later. All proof destroyed.

Have heard the latest one about to hit head lines over here ...... Stating Charles and Diana had a baby girl ....... Theory is the royals wanted her tested to see if she could conceive .... Eggs were taken ferterlised out side the room to see if all was well ... Staff were then told yo destroy them... The doctor in charge implanted them in his own wife , who gave birth to a baby girl ... The child of Charles and Diana ..... It also says she was warned off going public ... But now says she's coming over from America to speak to Charles about her mothers death ...... Another theory I'm sure many will run with... !!!!!
