with guys (could be women to but I never get messages from women) having face photos looking either miserable, serious or seriously pissed off?

Do people not smile anymore or are they trying to look hard to show what a big man they are?

Personally im more likely to message someone back if they have a nice smile.

I did a similar thread a while back as all the face pics I saw were like mug shots of mass murderers from prison!

Everytime i smile for the camera i look like a total pillock.so although its not a grumpy pic.it is a bit serious looking.lol .x

It should be a natural thing to smile but since I've been doing paid photography work, the amount of people I have to encourage to smile is bonkers. People getting engaged or married should radiate happiness but one still has to cajole smiles out of them.

I always smile or pull some daft face can't take a photo without doing I feel more uncomfortable trying to act to cool for school. To many people take them selfs to serously and think there supreme. I've got 1 where I'm pulling a cool pose and I hated doing it lol

this - someone told me in Face Pic Friday a few weeks back that I should smile but likewise it always looks odd when I fabricate a fake smile for a selfie!

I love getting my picture taken and usually have a big fat smile on my face

I do know what you mean though about some pics.....the ones were the person looks like they are about to cry

yes a local update the other say was a new pic - a couple - looked like one of those sets of people that go out and dont speak to each other

I think some guys look better when they don't smile, as a lot look simple when they do!

I prefer an intriguing and beguiling look myself

It is the pouting selfies I don't like...even had a guy send me pics of himself pouting..almost spat out my coffee laughing...

Its because they dont feel the need to pull a duck face pout thinking it looks attractive, they just stand there naturally and take a photo

I honestly have about 5 pictures in 35 years of photos where my smile looks normal.....

I'm the type of person whose photo smile look manic lol
