Spencer Davis Group with 'Somebody Help Me', and Dusty Springfield at no.2 with You Don't Have to Say You Love Me. Also in the Top 30 that week were The Who, The Yardbirds, The Kinks, Beach Boys, Walker Brothers and Simon & Garfunkel. I have no idea what's in the charts now but I'm betting it's not as good as that lot!

I actually found out my date of birth No 1 in an unexpected manner!! Worked on an autistic unit about 15 years ago and on my first day one of the residents, in his teens, asked me my birth date and rolled off that it was lily the pink!! And he did it every time someone new came on to the job, never got it wrong once!!
