Would you? Could you? Have you?

It seems like a great way to go to many different places with only the travel costs ...

But how would you feel about strangers being in your house ?

Does your insurance cover it ?

Would you have to spend a fortnight cleaning before you go ?

"why would your insurance not cover other people being in your house ?"

Could be a clause that you can't sub-let your property; is that a possibility ?

People living in your house whilst you're away ?

I struggle with overnight guests when we're here if a stranger was going to stay a fortnight i would need to clear drawers, wardrobes and cupboards and have Kim and Aggie round. So no.

Some insurance companies won't allow exchanges so they void your policy. Always best to check as you wouldn't want to be caught out.

i'd do it as i prefer to have a home to go back to rather than a hotel room where you have to sit on the bed for everything!

not sure my dad would like strangers in his flat though as it is connected to the house and i am not sure a pokey 1 bed flat is a desirable swap

Brighton - even Hove!

A friend if mine once swapped her victorian terrace with a beach house in California and she checked with them that her house was small and she said they said they wanted a Victorian terrace. I imagine they thought they'd get some grubby urchins too.
