If it's a longggg thread. I will read the post, read the first few replies, skim through the rest, then reply... Unless I find it interesting, then I read it all.

A short thread, I read it all..

Read the opening post skim the rest and then post my views. I'll then go back in periodically and see if any fellow poster responded to my post.

Read a lot....if its something that I feel strongly about I'll post....

Agreeing or disagreeing accordingly .. Did see a thread before where I just envisioned getting snide comments so didn't bother posting

"read em all "

This, after the title and opening post appeals, then it's about how much time I have on my hands.

If the opening post is longer than a couple of paragraphs I won't bother.

I actually read the opening post then scroll down to the end and read backwards (upwards)...lol.

It varies.

Usually I read the opening post and skim read the responses.

Or I can read the title and who posted last and work my way up.

The latter method works well if I deem it to be a 'popcorn' thread

I read the op and decide if I'm going to comment if I am I read the whole thing to make sure I'm not repeating somebody then I refresh when I get to the end to make sure nobody has put the same comment as me then I comment. If I'm not going to reply I read all posts till I'm bored then move onto the next 1.

Read the ops post... Sometimes skim through, if it's something I'm interested in. Sometimes just skip to add my bit.

depends on how long the thread is

I'm not going to read all 170 posts of a thread

It depends. Sometimes I read the OP and just respond. Other times I skim and maybe say something. Others I read more thoroughly if for a change I'm going to say something serious

Depends really on what device I'm browsing on and how much time I have.

Most of the time, I'll read the OP and skim read over before replying.

If it's an interesting topic then I'll go and read it from top to bottom properly.

If the thread is too long then just skim and perhaps comment but I think we all like to have our comments commented on in a positive way as we are all seeking attention in order to have a possible meet and some fun .Those who just use the forum just for chat then that's fine too .

I read the first message, then a few more, if bored i close the tab, if interested i read everything.

I did not read all this topic as i don't care how others use this forum but don't mind giving out how i user it.

I skim read but often find myself reading it backwards. ...It's really annoying when someone posts quoting someone else as i have to skim read backwards to find the post they are quoting. ...I'm sure I'd make it a lot easier on myself if I just read from the beginning!

Omg, glad it's not just me!

Either the title, or particular people posting has to encourage me to open it.

(Although sometimes I'll open a busy one just to see what the fuss is about)
