ok well maybe ive had a few worse but this one comes close lol

Ive just been robbed by some scum bag smack heads, and thats being polite about them, i was in the post office and drew out quite a large amount of money as im having my house decorated tomorrow and i needed money to pay them, as well as my rent money, shopping etc so id just drew it out and put the money in my purse and, ok looking back stupidly put my purse down, but it was right in front of me so i could sign some stuff i was sending off, when out the blue two young lads walked by me and one pushed me as the other picked it up, so a bit niffed by this i grabed the one and asked for it back to which they denyed taking it and got really aggressive, swearing at me and pushing me, and they walked off, not sure what to do by all this i called the police who wouldnt even come out to see me, called the bank who have said it will take 7 to 10 days to issue new cards, called the child benifit line to get a new card to be told they cant send one as i dont have my account number thats on the card i dont have, cant get any money out the bank as i dont have the required ID so basically i have to wait upto 10 days before i can get any of my money, i think me and the kids many have starved by then lol

what a nightmear of a day

just thought id share that with you all

Up North :-)

If you was near any place with CCTV see if they have it on cam. They may even have the offenders faces. Its a long shot but the police may be more willing to act if its on a plate for them.

feel for you hun, but banks can help.

i lost all of my id once and they were able to give me money by going through all the usual security questionnaires and they will have stored your signature too.

little relief, but hopefully some x

The police are looking into the CCTV and said they will get back to me

I've been told by my bank i can only draw money out without a card if i have photo id ie a pass port or drivers licence and i have neither

im kinda at that stage now here i keep saying to myself you should have done this and that lol you know how you do after grrrrrrrrrrrr

Yes banks can help if they want to.

I lost my card once and they did give me some cash up front as i had been a member for such a long time.

But what a hassle eh.

specially if you have kids to look after.

They need fooking stringing up

Serious quantities of ((((Hugs)))) probably from every one on here...

At least you are safe!! Money can be found... Good people less so.

Soapy would let you share his bath and a glass (or three)... If

you ask him... And tomorrow is another day...

It must have been an awful experience: glad you're ok.

As someone said, things can be replaced: you can't!
