My tattoos and facial hair is not what the majority of women are looking for in a guy, especially on a swingers site that has now become littered with 40+'s. These small factors makes it very hard to get female attention.

I think they are using your beard as an excuse. We have been on 18 months and only had one woman say she didn't like beards.....it might be something else they don't like but say your beard because it's easier than telling you no straight out?

Do a thread search for beards and you will find hundreds if not thousands and very often veer towards beards.....yes people might be attracted to the thread title but the sheer volume of beard threads will show that a lot of people on here have them and discuss them positively. You could also look at some of the regular forumites who have beards and get meets with not much diffuculty

I'd say there is a bit of a subculture for beards n tats, and it's growing in popularity. Agree with you though most young lasses in the mainstream are going for the pretty boy/metrosexual look.

Finally common sense. Im being lynched here for nothing.

Basically most seem disgruntled at the 40+ comment.

Nothing wrong with an ad, however, many have pointed out that your look is becoming pretty much mainstream. Therefore it's probably not (just) the look which is problematic.

Personally speaking I love alternative looking guys, love long haired, pierced, heavily tattooed guys, facial hair can look hot on the right look, Zakk Wylde for instance, but as I'm approaching the 40+ brigade I don't suppose my opinion matter
