I've met quite a lot of the regulars at social meets, clubs, parties etc but never had anyone mail me off here that has resulted in a private meet

if we did socials we no doubt would have met a fair few from the forums , but we don't .

Directly from the forum posts we have only had one meet , and ironically that was with a poster who asked what folk thought of their new pics . We said we thought they were arty farty crap and a rather heated debate ensued . Some months later we bumped into them at a club , got chatting , and ended up having a wonderful play !

There are people we have met who post , but we met them before they came on the forums .

. The forums are an excellent way of knowing how people think and their attitude to life in general. Some of the posts are really interesting and it is always usefull to be able to read a wide variety if opinions on a topic . A number of members ( all men ) contacted me about forum posts , but I have never had a meet as a result of a forum post . I did however arrange holiday accommodation in Cap d Agde as a result of a member contacting me through one of my posts .

the forum is my gateway to meeting obviously for reasons I'm not going to bore you with now, the chat rooms are off limits as such for me, so I rely on the forums for getting to understand someone's personality and whether or not we have something in common. Met a good number of forumnites for that reason; most of them then become friends. Its rare for me to receive an out of the blue PM from a non forumnite, and other than on one occasion that worked out very well, I'm a little wary about their motive for pm'ng me. The forums is a pretty good family for me. Have a number of forumnites on my hotlist, and like to think that it'll all work out and get to meet a couple of them very shortly

I made the conscious decision ages ago that I pretty much only meet people who regularly post here (this was when I was meeting). I tend to find regular posters are more reliable and I already have a good idea of the type of people they are and if we'd be compatible.
