Just seen an advert for this on the TV which was a little bizzar as we have just been promoting this at work today

Basically is promoting more black people to donate blood, bone marrow and stem cells as there is a desparate shortage, many black children and young people die yearly from leukemia simply because the lack of donors and matches, plus many more from other illnesses that require blood etc

There's quite a big advertising campaign at the moment to get more black donors

Look at there web site and if your able sign up and do your bit to help its a very important and good cause

Well thats my effort to help work will be proud of me

Well, some Black people (Afro carribean in particular) have blood types (Fy(a-b-), R (cDe) , U neg.) that aren't found in Whites.

everyones counts, thats why there are general blood donation drives.

this one is aimed at an under represented group whose reserves are in short supply
