Does anyone ever see their ex out in public with some schmuck and think, oh wow you've downgraded! This happened to me last night.

The only shitty thing is that I still have feelings for her and it took me ages to get over as well after we broke up. Truth is, to this day I would never turn a blind eye to her or deny her help if she ever needed it. Am I a mug? Probably....

My ex's current bit is a pretty girl from near Prague. I feel sorry for her as she will be the 4th one in 12 months that he will mess around and treat like dirt. Unless he's changed. Which I doubt.

Change your social locations and destinations.

There is a strong possibility that whatever differences exist between you and this new guy are exactly what she wants (or needs)

As for you, as hard as it seems now, you'll need to move on. That means severing more (emotional) ties wth her. Whether it's 're-training your brain' or whatever, you'll need to find a way to let go, and essentially tell yourself that she won't (for now) be coming to you for help.

Of course, we're all different so what I've just said may not be best for you

No, because I'm not that much of a Bitch or that far up my own arse to think I'm better than anyone else.

You may not think much of them physically but they could be much more handsome/prettier/sexier than you in your EX's eyes, and have a fantastic personality.

I've always felt that comment just sounds extremely bitter whenever I've heard it.

I don't think I'd recognise an ex if they rocked up and bit me on the arse it's been so long

If it makes you feel better to think she's downgraded then I feel sad for you as that bitterness will eat you up

With one exception when I see my ex's or hear from them my only thought is that i am glad they are happy and enjoying life. And glad that they still care enough about me to have the same emotions towards me. And the one exception, there is nothing worse than indifference towards her. Life is to short to begrudge people I once loved future happiness

Dude I haven't seen her in 2 years! And we broke up 3 years ago lol. I'm fully unattached don't get me wrong, I'm not still pining to get her back or anything.

But you know how there's one person that you always think could be the one? That's how I've always felt about her.

My point is that after all the bitterness and hate I felt towards her post-break up, I would still pretty much do anything for her. Like she'll always have a special place in my heart I think.

I see my ex and his gf now and then when he picks our grandchildren up or drops the car off. She's ok and they seem to be getting on well. She isn't someone I would have been friends with but she's not too terrible.

No even though he's my ex I wish him no bad feelings or malice we fell out of love.

Doesn't mean he can't find happiness without me far from it

I wish him all the success in the world

It's the little victories that keep me going lol

She could have been out with Tom Hardy it wouldn't have bothered me. I wish her all the best and hope she gets treated right that's all!

little house on the praire

My ex husbands second wife became good friends, even stayed friends after they split up.

She's part of my sons life so why wouldn't I get on with her?

I don't give a second thought to any of my ex's. I'm still friends with one and I simply don't fancy him anymore as the attraction has gone.
