over used preferences?

what do you find people put as a preference on their profiles yet are obviously not really into it at all?

S&M has to be the most misunderstood and over-used term on here i think.

it makes it hard when trying to use that function for searching out like minded peeps

I removed all my interests and my profile says i only offer vanilla and 3sums.

Don't know why but if anyone was ever into my interests i didn't like their messages they sent me, they made me feel like they were using me. Weird how your brain can work sometimes.

I think some people do see it as a 'menu of services offered' unfortunately. Usually the ones that think swingers = free prostitutes.

Yeah that could have had something to do with it as well. Plenty of guys make me feel like a service tbh, even just for vanilla stuff.

Add more info on your profile about what you like exactly. Before i removed my stuff i had i was Domme and mainly into humiliation, did have i was looking to cuckold someone but removed that yesterday. I don't think i want to look on this site for the kinkier stuff i like, i am on a more specialised site for this stuff now.

I un-ticked all my interests because I was getting messages from men who assumed I do them every time I meet,and that because they were into the same thing we were perfect for each other. I prefer to chat and let things unfold naturally during conversation.

that's rather crappy, and ignorant of peole to just assume. i never get why people seem to forget we're all human beings with feelings , emotions and our own needs.

I'm also on a more specialized site for my kinkier interests, but tbh being submissive and a male when it comes to that kind of play, it's harder than being on this site
