And did those feet in ancient time

Walk upon England's mountains green?

And was the holy Lamb of God

On England's pleasant pastures seen?

And did the countenance divine

Shine forth upon our clouded hills?

And was Jerusalem builded here

Among these dark Satanic Mills?

Bring me my bow of burning gold:

Bring me my arrows of desire:

Bring me my spear: O clouds unfold!

Bring me my chariot of fire.

I shall not cease from mental fight

Nor shall my sword sleep in my hand

Till we have built Jerusalem

In England's green & pleasant land.

I just had to sing that to myself as I read it, couldn't just read it

They really should change our National Anthem to that.

Watch out for dragons today!

Are all us English people out on the lash today to celebrate? Oh no, that was LAST months Patron Saints day!

Anyway Happy St George's Day to all proud Englishmen & women!

It's a sad reality that for most this day will pass almost unnoticed

Then make it part of your day to mention it today. I always wish people a happy St George's Day and it's just a little remainder. But then I'm not English.

The Red Rose has been hijacked by a certain party and with the future happenings may be taken as support of them by the majority of people, unfortunately

its also been taken by the England rugby team. I don't like rugby should I boycott the red rose for that reason also?
