Fair point. I only have a handful of people blocked so I guess it is different.

I am just curious about this because most of us have a rough idea as to what we are looking for, well, I have anyway.

I was wondering what would make people change their mind ... deviating from what they would normally do.

I used to go purely on looks. It was a bad mistake. After a d*unken night out, I ended up in bed with a female friend. I'd always adored her but didn't really fancy her. But as the drink flowed our conversation got filthier. We had an amazing night as we were both absolute filth bags. After that it occurred to me that I'd been getting it wrong by going for looks above of personality and sexual compatability. Since that night, I never looked back and have never been happier. I still appreciate a beautiful looking woman but it's no longer enough to draw me in.

Circumstances can change things - heat of the moment, being relaxed, having a good rapport etc.

It's why we don't bother looking too hard online, you can't get a feel for those things from a profile. Much easier at a club.

Besides that, red wine makes us a whole lot less fussy.
