Are there any hotels in the Greater Manchester area that do day rooms where l can take my lovely playmate ? l know some hotels have started to meet the demand.

If I had to, I'd suggest you Google 'day use hotel' and select the first link. Not that I've done that too much!

Search '9 to 5.com'. You can reserve day rooms in most towns and pay hotel on arrival. Times vary between 9 and 10am start and 5 and 6 finish.
