Naked children in a naturist setting as the kids have no choice as we see it.

We may be totally wrong of course but we were invited recently to join a uk club where there are naked kids and to us it is hmm.. an uncomfortable situation so we declined as much as we enjoy being naked in the sun. And before you ask no we haver no interest in anyone under 40. Years that is....

Nudity does not equal sex. If you're not comfortable don't go.

no matter

I dont want to be around children that is why I go to Kestrels or stay at home.

Family naturist clubs are just that ..places for families . Have no objection to nudity infront of kids that have grown up with it.

Dont know why people equate naturism with sex.

I think it's more an issue of your hang ups than theirs. It's healthy for young people to be comfortable with their body and others, and to understand that nakedness does not have to be sexual in content or context.

This is what I want to avoid with my boy, I want him to be comfortable in his skin around anyone - myself and my sisters were brought up with the idea that being naked is a disgusting thing and that you should be clothed at all times. As long as he knows no means no I would take him to a nudist beach With me and show him being naked is nothing to be ashamed Of

We have always been pretty open with nakedness in our house, not to the extent of walking around naked doing the dinner but in the bedroom and bathroom, unlocked doors ect, however when the children started to want their own privacy and began to cover their bodies up we respected that and we did the same as not to embarrass them

Children will soon let you know if they're uncomfortable around nakedness,I would have thought that those at family naturist sites are more than happy

"Nudity does not equal sex. If you're not comfortable don't go."

Nudism is nudism not sex in several European countries where mixed saunas are totally acceptable to be frequented by the whole family. Nobody butts an eyelid.

If not comfortable with it, people go on the days when it is female or male sauna.

Each to their own - I don t have a problem with it.

Hello Purehoneypot,

"Children will soon let you know if they're uncomfortable around nakedness"

That only happens when they see the negative reaction of someone else to nudity, otherwise there is no reason for them to be uncomfortable being naked.

Or when their bodies change and they want privacy while they get used to it and feel comfortable with it themselves

Exactly how it was in our household. They were also trained to never ever just walk into mummy and daddy's bedroom without knocking and waiting for a reply. Never ever.
