After many chats etc cam n fone .., I arranged a social meet jus for coffee n chat n get to know each other.. She didn't turn up n ignored my texts calls etc n now blocked me? Why do people do this I'm genuine n looked forward to our meet needless to say I'm a tad pissed off

Yeah it's happened to me as well. I've even been blocked for sending a nice message with face pic. It happens to most people on here. Don't dwell on it. Look to the fun you will have on your next meet.

Some seem to "get off" on exciting others or at the least raising their hopes, then bringing them down with a bang.

We have had it and no doubt most with a year or so under their nicks will have as well.

It's a bummer, no doubt about that. *sighs*
