Why game consoles?

Why are people still buying game consoles in this day and age?

I'm not trolling, It's a free country, you can buy what you want. I just can't understand why people would.

My pc is hooked up to my telly, so the one thing that I can think of, can now be done by a pc.

Does it all just boil down to the exclusive games?
