It's not what you 'get' for paying for membership, it's what you achieve. I pay my site supporter fee to make sure this site remains free for the majority of members. £20 a year? My goodness, its hardly breaking the bank.

However its not for all, especially people who think they should get guaranteed meets if they join.

Don't work how? They physically do what they're supposed to, e.g. allow you to see message conversations, add more photos etc.

They don't promise more than what they actually do.

Depends what you want the site features to do. Why not pay a fiver, try them, then if they don't aid your Fab experience, don't bother renewing.

A con is when you sign up and, even when you try to cancel, they keep taking the money. That doesn't happen here. In fact its a pain to renew as Fab don't have automatic payments and I keep forgetting.

Complaining about a service without using it seems a bit curmudgeonly to me.

Gives us that little bit extra which comes in quite handy at times but like others have said you might as well try it for a fiver, bet you gambled a fiver on the Grand National which lasted all of 5 minutes, this lasts for 2 months so definitely worth it

Whoever says that the additional Site-Supporters features don't work is talking nonsense! I've been a site supporter for several years, and I can assure you the following features DO work:-

~Who's looked at me

~Ability to save messages

~Increased photo allowance

~More cams in chat, and access to Site-Supporters chatroom.

well the friends we have met and wouldnt have from this site we could never put a price on - ok we could have met them without the fiver for 2 months but if we all didnt pay the site would close - we dont want that to happen

Have you any idea how much work it takes to keep a site like this running well??

If you want a con try the 'selective' feline named site! - a tenner a month and there about a dozen people outside London! The layout is crap and the forums are boring and rarely used!

Trust me - fab is brilliant and fantastic value by comparison! Xx

£5 for 60 days. You can see who's looked at you, keep up with message threads as it gives you the history of the conversation, plus a lot of people have filters set that wont let non site supporters message them, and yes I am one of those people. Its the only charge made on here and I think it's only fair to pay. There isn't an awful lot you get for nothing these days
