trading in an old mobile

So jools is due an upgrade soon, started looking at new phones.

And we have been offered trade in on old one

However even if I do a factory reset deleting everything first, will any information still be stored in phone?

nope factory reset clears it all.

Make sure you remove your memory card and sim though but yes, restore to factory defaults means it's all gone

i thought old phones were worth more - i just upgraded samsung s3 to s5 and £47 was the amount quoted id get - ive kept it as a spare

They're so outdated by the time you upgrade usually after 2 years there's at least another 2/3 models out by then. It's annoying. I got just over £100 for my iPhone 4s when I upgraded to the 5s. Hoping they don't release another before January! lol x

No it wasn't with mine either! I'm changing to Sony next time. Although just looked and its currently £186 for the 5s with envirofone! Hope that holds out!

Just changed my phone too.

When I sold my iPhone 4 I got £130 from CEX.

They'll give me £96 for my iPhone 5, I'll get more for it on eBay

Try selling it on Gumtree or EBay

I've sold all my old mobiles on there and got more money than they offered for trade in.

Sold my iPhone 4s a few months back on gumtree for £140.

I admit it was in mint condition mind and unlocked.
