"Always make the first meet a short social for ONE drink. Then when they meet and you think WOW you can fuck them. The most important bit is .......when you go .....oooops nooooooo there is no embarrasment cos you only arranged to meet for a drink anyhow. In that situation I always say ' I have to go now - twas great to meet you - bye xx No hurt no nothing cos it was only a drink. Put yourself in their place. If they went to the toilet and never came back what are you going to feel like. Don't set up a meeting that is doomed to fail xx Gran xx" love you Granny!!!! Once i met in a pub - and he was the most boring meet ever - really!!! That i drank a half pint (usually have a LARGE) came ot the pub and said - "i am going this way and i think you will find that the train station is THAT way!!!!" Felt guilty for a whole 1 second!!!! Felt better knowing i wouldnt have that morning after feeling, lol

"I just read on another post here about being stood up. One person said they insisted on meeting in person for a drink,ok you meet this person who just does nothing for you but they seem excited as ever to get their groove on , how do u get out of it? What was the best excuse u ever used " The best policy is to be as honest as possible without being insulting. To say you don't fuck uglies is probably true but can be taken as offensive. Far better to state your not attracted and things will not be going any further.

If there's no attraction no harm done as there was no expectation to play. At the end say it was nice meeting them and will be in touch.

"'Honesty huh'? I can't see myself telling a lady sorry my darling but I can't see me in you, goodnight. lol " The way I see it, every lady has a right to say no and expect an honourable man to accept it ... likewise should everyman and as long as done in a sensible manner so should every lady understand. I tend to find "I think we're looking for different things" works
