I enjoy the alone time and WiFi has certainly made it more interesting. I spend a lot of time in hotels but can't say I have ever felt lonely.

It depends on the hotel. Some just have an air of loneliness about them. Others feel like a holiday. I prefer the latter.

Spend quite a lot of time working away, nights in hotels. Certainly had its perks and you don't have to worry about washing the sheets after a meet

Do what I do when I'm on my own in a strange bed: measure how many you can get in the bed length and width-ways. I do it by how many of me I can fit in and then add an extra foot (or two) for other people.

In my old job I used to travel a LOT and staying in Hotels was obviously part of that.

I used to carry loads of music/DVD's etc..etc..

That was my backup in case there was no sport on in the bar.

Or other things...

I'm always grateful for some time to relax and recharge. I pick hotels wisely and don't generally just want a room to shag or sleep in. They are my temporary home. When it's time to shag, then they can be an easier choice than home too.
