They are the benchmark where Lucas failed when doing the prequels, he got too dependant on CGI, Abrams has gone back to the original format and built as much as possible but still use CGI, hopefully giving the movie a more tangible feel to it.

Star wars looks decent from the clips. But we all know what happened with episode 1.

Ok we've only seen 2 teaser trailers but already this one looks different class to the prequel triology abominations (just the very mention of Jar-Jar Binks makes me start to shake

)

I hope the final cut lives up to the hype, will be awesome I expect in 3D too!
