Anyone else noticed that Nicola Sturgeon is only talking about Scotland. OK, so she's the first minister and therefore has a vested interest, but her place in the debate, and the role her party could play after May 7th is not simply restricted to Scotland, so perhaps she should try and broaden her appeal.

From what i've seen from her so far this evening, it's very clear that she is solely focussed on Scotland and will ONLY work with Milliband for the interests of Scotland.

As a result, I think she's doing a brilliant job for the Tories, as she's making Milliband look very weak.

It's like the other leftys on stage are telling miliband he is missing the bus on his policies, his chance to be a good classic labour PM and is too focussed on being a milder version of the Tories.

I'm not an snp voter but everytime the Green Party and the snp speak I just wish it was Labour saying these instead or watered down Tory policies.

The thing that Ed Milliband fails to understand is that he and the PM have had that opportunity almost every Wednesday for the last five years - it's called Prime Ministers Question Time - and, from what I've seen whenever I've watched, Cameron walks all over Milliband.

Interesting that all the small parties have essentially said tonight, don't vote Labour, Ed isn't strong enough.

Well, in that case, let's vote for the other guy. The man currently in charge and who has got unemployment down to a record low etc etc.

And that those parties would support Labour was interesting. I like that they would put pressure on for Labour to move more to the left - that's what's made me reluctant to vote labour!

I take a good deal of interest in politics in general and regularly watch BBC Parliament, so this debate was unlikely to make me change my mind on who I will be casting my vote for on May 7th, but I have to say, that if I was undecided, after this evenings performance I can honestly say I would not vote for any of those who took part - or at least their respective local party candidates.

From what i've seen from her so far this evening, it's very clear that she is solely focussed on Scotland and will ONLY work with Milliband for the interests of Scotland.

As a result, I think she's doing a brilliant job for the Tories, as she's making Milliband look very weak."

The big clue is in the name Scottish National Party and yes she should be focused on Scotland.

As for saying she is doing a good job for the Tories no no Ed Miliband doing a good job for the Tories Nicola has said over and over that SNP and Labour can lock out David Cameron.

Surely she is the SNP leader for the Scottish Parliament.

Isn't Alex Salmond the planned SNP leader for the Westminster Parliament?

(Though I can see why they prefer her up front)

Nicola is the leader for all SNP reps. As the party leader she leads the debates on its behlaf.

I think it must be pressure she's feeling after the media crucified her a few weeks ago. I do like her though but notice she falls back on to climate change with ease, as a topic.

Same. I'm happy with the idea of Labour with some pressure from a more left/liberal leaning party so my first choice now would prob be Green. But as that's likely a wasted vote here it'll be Labour.

I won't vote LibDem ever again until Clegg fucks off. I wonder if they tactically kept away tonight to avoid the coalition question. If that happens I hope Milliband makes it a condition that Clegg steps down.

He won't. More likely a minority govt. with some occasional support by other parties.
