Sheffield

Sensitive skin one and use a timer.

Or get the sensitive skin magic powder cream (yes I know it's an oxymoron) but use a timer with that too

Lol. Its been mentioned on these forums several times too.

Always pays to do a bit of research first! If its been done, usually somebody on fab has been there....and posted about it!

Found the answer to my burning bits after the peas gave me frost burn which added to my discomfort.

Natural yoghurt, I remember it cooling my mouth once after a vindaloo.

Ahh the joy !!!

The sensitive one isn't even for genitals. They do have an aerosol veet that is specifically for the genital area so use that, once your junk has healed obviously, and do a test spot in case.

I emailed them a couple of weeks back about it and they said:

WITHOUT PREJUDICE

Dear Irene

Thank you for your recent email regarding Veet.

Although you have had no side effects from the product, we strongly advise that you do not use Veet on the genital area again. The product has not been tested for use in this way and we cannot guarantee what would happen. Also, even though you have not experienced a reaction, there is nothing to say that you can not develop a sensitivity in the future.

Thank you once again for taking the time to contact us and I hope this information has helped.

Yours sincerely,

Barry Kennedy

A Southern Softie who successfully uses Veet but I always use the day before a meet, NEVER leave it on longer than the specified time and always rub in Germoline with added anaesthetic straight after I`ve cleaned the Veet off because I suffer from a sweat rash where my legs join my groin

I can not use veet either due to my skin being extra sensitive.

Just read the reviews on Amazon from guys using the product . I have only just stopped having a much needed laugh as they are hilarious

You need to exfoliate with sandpaper first, otherwise you will get that effect. Healthy new skin is more resilient.

Update:

The yoghurt soothed my bits and worked a treat for me...all better and raring to go.

I had a massive laugh yesterday..Went back to boots and told them the story in front of a massive queue of people...had them in stitches, plus the girl behind the counter had a cheeky smile on her face.

Apparently, I have "nice, tough skin" according to a nurse who gave me a tetanus injection a few tears ago. Perhaps that`s why I appear to be able to tolerate Veet better than some!

Oooh Did you leave it on too long ?

I've used Veet sensitive & Nair sensitive without any problems.

I think wax or a razor would be more painful & dangerous !

Or go for a retro bush look !
