little house on the praire

Has anyone done this or started it?

I understand its relatively new.

I gave up for 8 weeks last year with a vaperizer then fell by the way side.

Giving up smoking is the one thing that fails me and I want to stop by September.

I know people will say will power but its kind of a crutch in my life

I don't want to sound like a smug ex smoker but it really isn't a crutch, the addiction makes you believe it is and its not until you stop that you realise it wasn't a crutch it was that you were a slave to the addiction

Im shutting up now

I have been on a ecig for 4 months now. I know I will never go back to smoking a real cig. Stopping the ecig as well will be a challenge

Don't be hard on yourself. Breaking any addiction is tough, especially when it's something you've done regularly for a long time.

Wanting to stop is a great first step. You'll get there, I'm sure.

I can certainly vouch for champix it was like flicking a switch in my brain that said you have never smoked and never craved one in five years

I got blue lighted to hospital and given a pacemaker. . .

Instant reason to stop!

My grandad says the same thing.

He's a chain smoker.

I'm talking 30-40 fags a day (and occasional cigars) he's been on those e-cig things for about 2 months.

He loves it.

I've not seen a fag in his hand for ages.

I have been using an e-cig for few months now, I did upgrade to a better more expensive model, not the Chinese imports you get on the market!

I only use UK made liquids, best thing I ever did, more money, taste things better, fitter etc

Northampton

I have given up for a few months before.

Now, I really need some help, so, tho I have seen champix mentioned here, I don't know about it...

I am going to go the route of asking my doc for a Zyban script.

Good luck
