"Well, it's moot of course - Farage proved himself to be a coward already. So your guess seems the least likely by far. ![]() The question is which one of us is basing their opinion on observable fact, and which one of us is basing their opinion on what they desperately wish to be the case, even though they know it is not, and can be. Will leave you to decide the answer to that. ![]()

"The Polish Prince has challenged Nigel Farage to a duel in Hyde Park, using swords. Unfortunately, he has declined ![]() ![]() Probably did decline. The verbal debate was likely the aim all along. The duel was just to gain publicity for it.

"The Polish Prince has challenged Nigel Farage to a duel in Hyde Park, using swords. Unfortunately, he has declined ![]() ![]() This Polish prince speaks of a heroic cavalry charge and saving 6000 Jews in the process, complete and total bollocks, what cavalry charge? Where are these 6000 Jews, Schindler Jews only amounted to around 1200 and there are more descendants from these than live in Poland today. The only point he proves is the inherent madness of royalty. If you're going to make a point a weak point at that, don't quote out and out lies. The Poles dished out more discrimination to the Jews before and during the war than accusing them of causing a few traffic jams.

"The Polish Prince has challenged Nigel Farage to a duel in Hyde Park, using swords. Unfortunately, he has declined ![]() ![]() You could always look up the battle of Kaluszyn on 11-12 September 1939. The cavalry charge took place during that battle and was led by his father Andrej. There are several easily found sources that describe it so it would seem a mistake to call that a lie.

"The Polish Prince has challenged Nigel Farage to a duel in Hyde Park, using swords. Unfortunately, he has declined ![]() ![]() At one point the commander of the Polish 6th Legion's Infantry Regiment ordered the 4th squadron of the Polish 11th Uhlans Regiment to advance towards the town itself. The order was misunderstood by 06:55:46 Andrew Zylinskias an order of a cavalry charge and the squadron of 85 men rushed towards the enemy positions with their sabres and rifles. In the effect of the accidental charge the Poles broke through to the town, despite suffering significant casualties (33 dead out of the 85 who took part in the charge). The Polish infantry followed into the breach in the German defences and by the early morning the town was liberated. Most of the substantial Jewish population of the town was deported by Germans to the Warsaw ghetto or Treblinka. So his father either mistook an order or couldn't follow orders... ultimately ending with most of the Jews in the Warsaw ghetto or treblinka...

"The Polish Prince has challenged Nigel Farage to a duel in Hyde Park, using swords. Unfortunately, he has declined ![]() ![]() The question was "what cavalry charge"? And there was a false statement that it was a lie. Whether or not there was a cavalry charge would have had no effect on extermination of the Jewish population by the Germans. That's just a silly link to try to make.

"Whatever your views on his politics are i cant see how he can be called a coward. He left the tories due to principles rather than keep his mouth shut and ride the gravy train, battled cancer and recovered from near fatal injuries from being hit by car then left a very lucrative and successful career as a banker to take on an extremely powerful establishment that would and have used every means possible to destroy him.So tell me again what has he done thats cowardly?" He's still riding the gravy train. He claims expenses for doing a job he refuses to engage in, complains about policy set by committees he is a part of but refuses to attend to represent the views and interests of the people who voted for him...

"No it would be legal and tax avoidance not evasion." I know that, but nearly all the people here that gave a go at Farage also have a go at those who legally avoid paying taxes.... And besides, the 'Prince' is probably requester ed as a non- dom anyway! Lol

"I need to get my eyes tested because I misread this (again) as Jay Z versus Farage. ![]() I thought it said Jan Zelezny, which doesn't fit at all what with him being Czech and preferring a big arrow to a sword.
