Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

It's that Sunday night when you know the real world of work and school and getting up on time returns in the morning.

Do you keep the holiday going right until bedtime (or even the next morning) or do you return to the normal Sunday night routine?

You're in the Land That Time Forgot so it'll be alright.

I'm back up at 4.30am tomorrow for my first day back after 12 days off...picked the right time to book off hit 21 degrees 2 days ago

Managed to finish all the painting in our house

Insulate and board out the cellar now it's dried out

Painted the windowsills and stone door surround outside

Put a gorgeous wooden gate up to stop our mischievous dachshund from getting out

Planted a few sunflowers

Even got the first car show of the season squeezed in

And finally I learnt that drinking butter-beer (lager with amaretto and fresh cream) makes me throw up for two days

I used to hate Sunday nights when I was young. My mum ironing the uniforms, me getting forced into a bath then the dreaded hair brushing

If you ever feel the need for a little holiday in London I have loads of lovely jobs you could do.

I promise not to give you butter-beer.

I had to iron the uniforms and my Mother got around the hair brushing by chopping our hair short.

I still do the ironing on a Sunday evening as it feels wrong to do it at any other time.

Did my kitchen dance at 7.30. Had to get that in. It's been part of my routine for the last two weeks.

In the middle

I have had a great week off and had a few adventures along the way so I really don't want to start getting up at 4.30 again

I got to my desk at 10am - it's a long journey to work ( ) and didn't get up again until 2pm. Remembering to get up and move around and not just head down get on with it is now a priority as my back aches!

Work is bad for my health.
