You don't need a lot of bubble bath but if you want big bubbles use the spray attachment

We have a simple way

1. pour in bubble bath

2. turn on whirlpool jets

Watch yourself vanish under a ton of white foam

Hex

The land of grey peas and bacon

You can't actually get that amount of bubbles from normal bubble bath. I think they used a special substance to get all the bubbles

Agreed...then I have to shower afterwards to get it all off! I find it really ruins my bath

Clean the bath first. Any "body" grease that's been left behind by the last bather will kill off the bubbles.

Yes the shower head would go under it once the bath is filled a quarter full.

doesnt need to be under the water

For the bubbles you need to mix the air in

I did - experimenting with some "tasteful" pics a couple of years ago - best product for this is "Infacare" the one for babies. I used a little more than normal, cold water first, then hot for a good while then both taps and some manual agitation.... There were no gaps on the surface......

Another one here that uses the shower to help with lots of bubbles (assuming you have a shower over bath set up)..

I run bath in the normal way, add whatever bubble bath you want then use shower on most powerful setting in addition to the taps (mine has a massage setting on the shower head itself that literally beats the crap out of you) and hey presto loadsa bubbles

A decent size block of potassium will create plenty of bubbles

If your water pressure isn't the greatest (like ours) then just pouring bubble bath in, agitating it and even using shower head probably won't do much.

You can buy a mat to put in bath that will give you a jacuzzi type bath without the expense of a whirlpool bath.

We had one before we got our whirpool bath called a Babyliss Bath Jet Spa. You can't buy them new anymore but ebay & other places have them. That will get you a nice bubble bath with the added bonus of relaxation of jets (you just have to tune out the noise of the motor).
