So are they still in fashion.

Had mine for about 3 months now and I get a lot more real world attention. But am thinking about shaving it off again now.

"Stubble yes.... Beard no. Just not for me."

I use to have stubble but then these days just let it grown and run wild hence the beard.

"So are they still in fashion.

Have you got one just because they're in fashion, or because you like it?

If the latter, keep it.

If the former, Google, see if they're still 'now' and follow the fashion police to look like / wear / do as you're told!

Everyone hated it when i first joined the site. Every message used to be 'get rid of the beard and we might meet you'.

It's funny how things change. The same people that used to detest it, now seem to love it like none other.

Strange, but still their entitlement i suppose.

That's a nice beard I'd not shave it of to get meets.

Read an article recently that stated some beards contained as much filth and grime as actual poo

Bacteria build up I imagine

Suppose when you think about it it's gotta be extremely difficult to keep it squeaky clean

Not to hard only the same as keeping your head hair clean. Can only see it been hard if you don't like soap to much. Which going by some verifications on here guys ain't to good at either.

But you don't put food and drink near your head

So throughout the day there's possibly going to be a build up of germs and bacteria in a beard from stale food and drink

Suppose the fuller the growth the filthiest it can be

That article was the biggest load of rubbish I had ever read. Of course you're going to have a load of bacteria on you if you don't wash. The author is obviously someone who isn't man enough to grow a beard for himself.
