I'm a largish guy, not very fat, and have a well built body, I'm a little shy about my body and have had a worry about not being what people want. I know Everyone has the right to choose what turns them on but it is very hard to meet a couple who wants to be with a larger guy, I'm no brad Pitt but not ugly at all I'm not slobish and have a well built figure. Is there any couple who don't mind this as all I get is " fit men only " and I don't even try... I guess there is a lot of guys in the same boat and wondered how they get on, or if there are any couples/women who like a larger guy....each to there own but a fit guy does not mean better sex...any thoughts ??

There is someone for everyone on here and guys who are well build are sometimes very popular.....

That being said confidence goes a long way so you need to accept who you are and play to your strengths - you have already got some veris and I am sure you will do fine on here

Nothing turns me off more than a guy who is narcissistic. Athletic, skinny guys just don't do it for me. I love a man with a big build. I feel safe. Each to their own. (Mrs here btw)

I guess I have been turned down a lot lately, I'm not ugly but my confidence has taken a blow and I'm not a copy and paste man just to get a message to people. I'm polite and not rude, I read profiles and make sure I understand what the couples/women are after...I wish I could meet a couple/lady who does not mind my figure but I guess I'm not looking in the right places, my confidence is a bit low now as over the last 20 messages I have only had two replied and that's to say not my type...i dont want to go on a mine sweep as thats just not far on The propre you contact..... Just wish i Was a fit Guy

i am not a fan of skinny/gym type or rugby built blokes.i have no prob with guys who have a bit of a belly.after all i am no skinny minny myself.x

Self pitying can be off putting in either a man or a woman.

Tbh there are loads of ladies who like a well built guy and confidence is a turn on for most so regain it and own it.

You're be fine big guy hunky is better then skinny 6 pack trust me.

I like a big guy. Met one recently and he asked if i wanted the light off, i said no coz i wanted to see his hot body. He was genuinely surprised i said that.

Was a good fuck anyway, best i've had lately.

Dude! I hear you! I feel the same way!! (yes I called you "dude") It's odd as I do get some attention - but yes, when I read profiles and get to the "fit" parts I too clicky the little "x" and move on, as I wouldn't stand a chance.

I know where you're coming from OP.

Lots of profiles here seeking 'exceptional', 'athletic', 'vwe' men.

Well I consider myself a down to earth, friendly, easy going, average sort of guy. I don't see myself as 'exceptional' and, in my humble opinion, anyone that does is toeing a fine line between arrogance and over-confidence (I know loads of people like very confident types so that's fair enough).

Keep smiling OP, be true to yourself and hopefully the rewards will come!

I imagine your lack of replies are nothing to do with your body but simply that there are a million single men on here and only 3 single women and 2 couples!

If you flick through the forums you will see hundreds of posts and comments about not getting replies..its simply a numbers game.

My advice would be get some photos on for starters. .very few people respond to a profile with no public pics and get off here and get to some clubs and socials!

have removed a few pics to be honest as thought that was the issue....and to the couple who said man up....your the type I would skip looking at as I might be low on confidence at moment but at least im not an ass hole ! but to people like you who would shag anything then you will get meets, but hay ho !

its a common thing with guys I feel, its not just women who feel like they need to look good....Im not feeling sorry for myself or winging about not getting meets, I just asked if a comment or two on how people get on with this issue....but it does make me laugh how you can see a profile of a woman or couple who are ugly and so overweight who only want fit people.....that to me makes me laugh..but all I asked was to get advice and that's what some of you kind guys are doing...only the odd one or two Experts who are SEX GOD themselves..lol....

OP, I'm well chunky, but things still happen for me. Mainly when I've been at a venue. Hope that doesn't sound like I am bragging, because it's not meant to come across that way.

The ratio of men to women/couples on this site is pretty high. So you should immediately expect a lot of rejection.

What I'm finding in my foray into the swinging world/scene is that fabswingers is a gateway or tool to finding places to go. Get yourself to a club or a naturist swinging venue.

Not sure if the women on here would agree with me or not? But the impression I get is lady folk prefer to see potential partners in the flesh. It's too easy to lie and be deceitful online.

see this is the advice I was looking for, we don't always know the best ways..i do get lucky and I do meet people away from here but I guess its that first hello that's failing. I guess I don't want to just bang out 100 messages to all and any in the chance of a reply, i would never moan like some guys saying that its rubbish and iv had enough as everyone's a fool, i have seen them and that's just stupid. I just need a bit of advice or hear from guys the same as me.....thank to you all..

. i do have the confidence on here, the lack of confidence would be standing naked in front of people that's my issue at the moment, soon get over it i think though..

OP, never thought naturism would be for me. Always thought it to be quaint and eccentric.

However, after doing it a few times now, I can honestly say, the naturist/swinging community are one of the nicest accepting groups I've come across.

I'm the heaviest I've been all my life. And definitely not a lot of people's cup of tea. But some, I do tick their boat. So it's all good

I know where the OP is coming from as I am a big guy too, stick me in a suit and I look like a bouncer or debt collecter lol.

You will get knockbacks but ride it out mate as there are as many ladies who like stocky well built guys as there are those who don't, make them laugh and half the battles won.
