Drinking too much?

Yeah there are guidelines and exact details of the amount of units we should be drinking.

What do you think is too much?

When you become reliant on drink to get you through the day such as a drink when you first wake up. Also I think when people comment on how much you are drinking.

when you cant walk straight or talk sense, become an embarrassment, cant get yourself home, or if you start throwing up.

When you think more about having a drink or worrying about when your next one is than the normal things in life like working,shopping,cleaning,spending time with family

When a social enjoyable habit becomes a necessity to get through any situation

I drink new years eve and usually my birthday, not to excess but as a lightweight i do get d*unk. Some years i don't even bother doing that.

So as someone who is pretty much teetotal and lives their life sober i'd say if you drink more than several times a year and have to get d*unk every time you socialise then it's too much, so that's how i live my life. Anyone else can do what they want, i don't meet d*unks though and wouldn't want to go out for an alcoholic drink with anyone as a social.
