Ah, see, it won't apply to us cos we're both earning under £44k but jointly c.£60k so we're safe. Phew!

... note to boss:

No pay rise this year please. It would only be £500 cos you're stingy bastards and I don't wanna go above the threshold. Ta.

About time too,I think it was Princess Michael who said she gave all her benefit to Barnardo's or N.S.P.C.C.

Fair play to her but why are people on that sort of income receiving it in the first place?

Because it's universal and they've contributed to the system. If the last govt hadn't stuffed things up we wouldn't be seeing these changes.

Cos they have worked, paid tax and deserve it in many cases..

But it pisses me off no end when families get it and spunk it up the wall on Bingo, fags and booze etc...a woman opposite us mentioned that we used to give our kids Walkers chrisps...saying about how expensive they were and she used to give her kids the cheapest of the cheap shit ones...at a time when her and her husband smoked 40 a day each!...cue one fucking major league mouthful from me...needless to say she doesnt talk to me anymore...

Good!

They should be given vouchers for food etc...not money...some people genuiely need it..and some are just poncers.

Whether they've contributed or not, benefits are there to help the poorer members of society, not just to top up pin money for those that don't need it.

There was once a documentary about it some years ago.

A rich woman with the house, cars and lifestyle that went with it,said that she recieved it but felt she didn't need it and couldn't understand why it was paid to people with their income.

She thought the system was all wrong.

NO. NO. NO. They can have the children and the cash. I just want the procreative benefit.
