Is there a way to take registered debit cards off the consoles?

I'm not a techno phobe and thought I was up to date with this stuff.

Just checking the bank statement and found my son has spent £114 on game updates, I wanna take off the card so he can't do it without asking etc

Why guys/girls help here?

Go into your account via Internet browser and disable thé account that way.

"Game updates" I would put money on that being FIFA/PES packs lol

If you go into the Xbox's settings there should be either a payment setting or security setting I would have thought - I know we removed our PayPal from ours after unidentified payments appeared on our account - but I don't remember how :-/

Better off to buy him Microsoft vouchers when he needs things (there are cheap websites where you can pay via paypal and they will email you the code within an hour rather than going to a store and paying full price)

IIRC it is a bit of a pain to take card details off your account. I think you have to actually ring up and speak to a human being which is a chore in itself.

Yup I'd say this is the best way too

Thanks for the replies, the updates were world of tanks, battlefield 4 and grand theft auto.

Think I'll give them a ring.

OP, have you thought about taking your son's console away until he learns not to abuse your trust in him?

£114 on dlc is a bit excessive as most games cost an average of £50. Trying to give a bit of context.
